Kinsmen Lutheran Church will host its 14th annual “Run for Your Turkey” 5K/10K walk or run on Thanksgiving Day. The event steps off at 8 a.m. Thanksgiving Day from Kinsmen, winds through the tree-lined neighborhood of Greenwood Forest, then brings participants back to Kinsmen to cross the finish line. Registration is $40. Proceeds help fund the church’s Community Thanksgiving Feast later that day, which is free of charge and open to the entire community.

Glow and Go 5K (Holiday Edition) will take place along The Woodlands Waterway beginning at 6 p.m.

Glow and Go 5K is produced by The Woodlands Township Parks and Recreation Department and is a USA Track and Field (USATF) sanctioned event. The chip-timed 5K course will incorporate the full length of the Waterway, providing a scenic route and fun, enjoyable atmosphere fostering friendly competition.
