Each year, the Museum honors the legacy of civil rights leader, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., with messages of unity, justice, and peace.
Join us for a powerful, interactive celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy, led by our Kids’ Committee. Experience live music, spoken word, and hands-on moments featuring moving performances by Dr. Kiana Williams, including “Lift Every Voice and Sing,” “A Change Is Gonna Come,” and “Happy Birthday.” Be inspired by a dramatic reenactment of Dr. King’s iconic “I Have a Dream” speech by Steve Scott, watch creativity unfold during a live speed painting by Ange Hillz, and take part in a meaningful Peace March through Kids’ Hall—coming together to honor a legacy of unity, hope, and positive change!
Special Storytime & Craft: Join us for a story about kindness and inclusion, then work together to create your own " Unity Peace Doves".
