The highly anticipated Lazy River 5K takes place Saturday, September 6, 2025, at the Rob Fleming Aquatic Center located at 6535 Creekside Forest Drive, 77389. This unique event invites participants of all fitness levels to test their endurance by running or walking against the current of Rob Fleming’s iconic lazy river.

Whether you are new to water walking or simply looking for an engaging way to stay active, the Lazy River 5K offers something for everyone. Participants can compete in the full 5K, a 1-mile run or join forces with friends in a three-person relay team.

Elite 5K begins at 7:30 a.m.
5k starts at 10:15 a.m.
1 Mile Fun Walk starts at 2:00 p.m.
