Storybook Theatre, Friday, September 5th at 11am presents “The Ultimate Guide to Grandmas and Grandpas!” by Sally Lloyd-Jones. In honor of Grandparents Day on Sunday, September 7, we’re celebrating grandmas and grandpas with this humorous and delightful manual for children on how to take care of their grandparents and make them feel loved. Don’t forget the hugs and kisses!

Storybook Theatre Friday, September 12th at 11am presents “The Dot” by Peter H. Reynolds. “Just make a mark and see where it takes you.” Her teacher’s words give Vashti the gentle
nudge she needs to have the confidence to channel her creativity and make something wonderful, beginning with one little dot. September 15 is International Dot Day!

Storybook Theatre, Friday, September 19th at 11am presents “How I Became a Pirate” by Melinda Long. Today is Talk Like a Pirate Day! Let’s celebrate with this story about Jeremy Jacob, who sets off on an adventurous voyage with a pirate crew and learns all the finer points of being a pirate such as throwing his food across the table, getting rid of his manners, and ignoring bedtime. However, when a storm breaks out, he decides he’d rather not be a pirate after all!
