Storybook Theatre in August
Friday, August 29, 2025, 11:00am

Storybook Theatre Friday, August 8th at 11am presents “Back to School” by Noé Carlain. All the animals are excited to be going back to school. Here’s a peek at how the first day goes for everyone.

Storybook Theatre Friday, August 15th at 11am presents “The Animal Song” by Jonty Howley. A crocodile, brown bear, and weasel form a band that continually entertains all the woodland animals until their audience is ready to hibernate…but the band wasn’t sleepy and kept on playing in town. When the woodland friends wake up from their winter’s nap expecting to hear the animal song, they find the band snoring a new tune!

Storybook Theatre Friday, August 22nd at 11am presents “Dolly Parton’s Billy the Kid Makes It Big” by Dolly Parton. We’re celebrating National Dog Day (August 26) a little early with the story of a French bulldog named Billy the Kid, who was born with an ear for country music. Billy heads to Nashville to follow his dream, encountering some hurdles along the way but gaining his self-confidence and some new friends.

Storybook Theatre Friday, August 29th at 11am presents “Side by Side: Life Is Better TOGETHER!” by Rosie Greening. The unicorns are famous everywhere for their perfect rainbows, signing hoofprints, and granting wishes. However, the groovicorns don’t need magical powers to have fun; and they want to be famous, too! This humorous story shows us the importance of valuing everyone’s differences.

Included in the price of admission, which is $9 for adults and children 1 year and older. bit.ly/TWCMtickets  #ToddlerMom #Art #ChildrensMuseum #TheWoodlands #WoodlandsMom #BookReading #StoryTime #TheWoodlandsChildrensMuseum
