R.F. Meador Branch Library is now part of a large network of Family Place Libraries™ throughout the country. Expanding the traditional role of children's services, Family Place builds on the knowledge that early learning, parental involvement, and supportive communities play a key role in the growth and development of our youngest patrons. If you have a child between the ages of 0-3, we invite you to register for our upcoming Parent-Child Workshop 5-Week Series. This program is the signature program of the Family Place initiative. It provides a welcoming environment for parents and young children to play and explore while parents are introduced to key resource professionals on various topics concerning their child's overall development.   Parents need to commit to all 5 weeks of workshops. Please, sign up all adults and children attending the workshop. Sign-up is required only once for all 5 weeks of this program. Each Monday will feature a new theme, and the same workshop will be offered at 9:00 AM and 10:15 AM.
