When I heard that the husband-and-wife team behind DAGS spent years testing more than 25 diaper bags and surveying hundreds of dads before creating their own, I knew this was one I wanted to tell Woodlands mommies about!
It's easy to find diaper bags designed with moms in mind, but dads often end up carrying something that feels like an afterthought. DAGS set out to change that by creating a diaper bag specifically for fathers, and the attention to detail shows from the moment you open the box.
Before you even get to the bag itself, the presentation stands out. It arrives packaged in a thick black fabric drawstring tote and includes a welcome note to its new owner. It immediately feels like a celebration of fatherhood rather than just another baby product. Moms have countless stylish products made just for them. It's refreshing to see a company create something that makes dads feel equally valued during this season of life.

The patent-pending DAGS System was thoughtfully engineered for real-world parenting. The bag opens and hangs like a supply tray, making diaper changes much easier when you're balancing a wiggly baby. There's a built-in hook for those public restrooms where there never seems to be a place to hang your bag, and the design allows for easy one-handed carrying and access. One of my favorite features is the exterior baby wipe dispenser right on top, making quick cleanups fast and convenient.
Other practical features include an insulated bottle compartment, dedicated diaper storage, oversized water bottle pockets, stroller straps, an easy-clean premium fabric, a labeled changing pad, and even a soiled laundry bag.

Speaking of the changing pad... the fact that it's actually labeled "Head" and "Feet" tells me everything I need to know about who this bag was designed for! It made me laugh, but it also perfectly captures the thoughtful, dad-first approach behind the entire product.

The bag itself is durable, spacious, and proportioned well for an average man's frame. Everything feels well made, with quality materials that should hold up to years of family adventures.
I also appreciate the simplicity of the design. From what I could tell, DAGS comes in one color: black. Honestly, what other color does a dad need? It's clean, timeless, and understated.
While it's marketed as a diaper bag for dads, I think it's just as perfect for grandpas who regularly have the grandkids. There's no age limit on practical design, and this bag would make a thoughtful baby shower gift or Father's Day surprise for any father or grandfather who wants something that's truly his own.
Overall, I love the intention behind DAGS. As moms, we often spend so much time choosing products for ourselves and our babies that we forget Dad is navigating this season too. DAGS doesn't just hold diapers and wipes – it acknowledges that fatherhood is worth celebrating. I love the thoughtfulness behind that, and I think a lot of Woodlands daddies will, too.
