Have you heard of sprouted coffee? I hadn't either until Java Trading reached out and offered me the opportunity to sample its Organic Sprouted Coffee, which recently launched at local Costco stores.
I was curious right away. The company uses a unique patent-pending sprouting process before the beans are roasted. According to Java Trading, this process helps create a coffee that is naturally lower in acidity and bitterness while also increasing antioxidant levels.
The result is a cup of coffee that's designed to be:
- Smoother tasting
- Less acidic
- Easier on the stomach
- Less bitter than traditional coffee
- Rich in antioxidants
- Energizing without the jitters
My Experience:
I sampled the Organic Medium Roast, and the first thing I noticed was the aroma. Because these are whole beans, I used my husband's coffee grinder before brewing. The smell that filled the kitchen was rich, warm, and inviting. I then used a French press to prepare my coffee (my favorite way to make coffee)! The medium roast features sweet undertones and notes of dark chocolate, and I found the flavor to be smooth and balanced from the very first sip.

What stood out most was the lack of bitterness. The coffee was easy to drink and had a clean finish without the harsh edge that can sometimes accompany darker roasts (or even some medium roasts).
Whether you're a serious coffee enthusiast or simply enjoy discovering new products, Java Trading's Organic Sprouted Coffee is worth a look. I enjoyed the smooth flavor, loved the aroma, and appreciated learning about a different approach to coffee production.
If you're a Costco shopper and a coffee lover, keep an eye out for it on your next shopping trip. The cost is $ 23.99 for 24oz bag, and you can learn more at java-trading.com.
