Get ready, mamas! We’ve just found your kids' next favorite play spot!

If you've been wishing for another indoor place where your child can climb, jump, slide, and burn off all that energy (without melting in the Texas heat!), you'll definitely want to check out Happyland, celebrating its soft opening this Wednesday, July 29.

Located at 25903 Elmfield Dr., Suite 100, near the Walmart on Kuykendahl( where The Woodlands, Spring, and Tomball meet), this colorful new indoor playground is designed for children up to age 12 and is packed with opportunities for active, imaginative play.

The multi-level playscape features:

  • A giant ball pit
  • Multiple slides
  • Tunnels
  • Climbing structures
  • Trampolines
  • Creative play areas
  • Plenty of room to run, explore, and play for hours

The moment I walked in, I was impressed. Unlike many indoor play places, The Happyland is flooded with natural light thanks to two walls of windows. The space feels bright, cheerful, and welcoming instead of dark and enclosed. It feels large enough to keep kids entertained for hours, yet cozy enough that you won't constantly be wondering where they disappeared to. I also loved that you can walk completely around the playscape, making it easy to keep your child in sight no matter where they're climbing, crawling, or sliding.

Happyland also includes several thoughtful touches for families. There's a snack bar serving pizza and other kid-friendly treats, a dedicated party room for birthdays and celebrations, and convenient shoe storage to help keep everything organized while the kids play.

Kids will need grip socks on the play equipment. Feel free to bring your own, or purchase a pair when you arrive.

  • All-day admission

What I Loved

  • Bright, airy space with two walls of windows
  • You can walk 360° around the entire playscape, making it easy to keep an eye on your child
  • Spacious without feeling overwhelming
  • Giant ball pit, slides, tunnels, climbing structures, and trampolines
  • Snack bar, party room, and convenient shoe storage

Before You Go

One important tip before you plug the address into your GPS: there's another indoor playground with a very similar name located nearby on Kuykendahl that's already open.

The place highlighted in this article is Happyland, located at 25903 Elmfield Dr., Suite 100, and its soft opening begins this Wednesday. Double-check the address before you head out so you end up at the right place.

With the school year just around the corner and plenty of scorching afternoons still ahead, I have a feeling this is going to become a favorite rainy-day, too-hot-to-play-outside, and "the kids need to burn off some energy" destination for local families. And when school is back in, this place will be ruled by the preschool crowd + homeschool crowd, which I absolutely love!
