Boot up! It's rodeo time! Bring your family out to the Montgomery County Fair & Rodeo that takes place every day beginning Thursday, April 9 - Sunday, April 19 at the Lone Star Convention & Expo Center and Montgomery County Fairgrounds, 9201 Airport Rd in Conroe.
This event features all the excitement we LOVE about rodeos - livestock shows, contests, musical entertainment, carnival rides, midway games, FOOD, shopping, "rodeo" fun such as barrel-racing, roping, pet parades, and more! Yep, April just got a lot more fun!
Here's more of what's happening:
- Family Attractions - Pony rides, livestock birthing center, petting zoo, pig races, tractor, pull, and more!
- BBQ Cookoff - Teams from all over the county compete for the "BEST OF" titles.
- Concerts - Get up close and personal with some of Country Music’s most exciting artists.
- Youth Rodeo - From mutton busting to Cash Cow, these youth rodeo events are crowd-pleasing and exciting.
- Livestock Show - Turkeys, cows, rabbits, goats, horses, and more... come see the show exhibits in various categories.
- Carnival - World class thrills - from rides to games to carnival foods!
- Contests - Robotics, Mechanics, Fair Queen, National Anthem Contests, and more.
- Dos Chicas Barrel Racing - The Dos Chicas Barrel Race will be happening on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at the Woodforest National Bank Arena on the Montgomery County Fairgrounds!
- Adult Non-Livestock - Cash awards will be given in the Home Economics, Fine Arts, Needlecraft, Handicraft, Horticulture and Photography shows.
- Shopping - Lots of fun vendors to support!
- Classic Car Show - Enjoy an array of unique vehicles or enter your own set of wheels for a chance to win the title of ‘Best in Show Car’, ‘Best in Show Truck’, or ‘Overall Best in Show.'
New for 2026: Faith at the Fair Day
Faith at the Fair Day is a brand-new, family-friendly celebration of faith and community, designed to bring people together for a day of encouragement, connection, and joy.
Join in for a special Cowboy Church service, Hope and Help Showcase, live entertainment, activities for all ages, and more throughout the day.

If you attend the event Monday - Thursday, admission is free! Otherwise, ticket prices are as follows:
FRIDAY - SUNDAY (excluding April 19):
Tickets: 12 & Older - $15 (Online), $20 (At the Gate)
Kids 5 - 11 - $5 | Under 5 - Free
Military: April 10th-12th - Free*
*includes immediate family with active military ID
PARKING is free!
GENERAL INFORMATION:
- General Admission Tickets valid for one-time use during either weekend of the fair (Friday - Sunday, excluding Sunday, April 19)
- Sunday, April 19 requires an El Dia de la Familia Hispana specific ticket.
- The General Admission Ticket includes admission to the rodeo and concerts on Friday, April 10, Saturday, April 11, and Faith at the Fair on Sunday, April 12.
- There is no fee for admission Monday, April 13 through Thursday, April 16.
Admission tickets are required:
- April 10 - 11 (Concert and Rodeo Nights)
- April 12 (Faith at the Fair)
- April 17 - 18 (BBQ Cook-Off Weekend)
- April 19 (El Dia de La Familia Hispana)
- Sunday, April 19 requires an El Dia de la Familia Hispana specific ticket.
