From storytimes and trick-or-treat parades to escape rooms and creative workshops, there’s something happening every day this week. Monday
Monster Mash Dance Party – Mitchell Library, 10–11am
Kids can wear their craziest socks and dance the morning away with music, balloons, and fun! Perfect for ages 2 and up with a caregiver.

Teen Escape Room: The Haunting of Thrill House – Mitchell Library, 5:30–7pm (registration required)
Your teen can enjoy a spooky-season escape as they work in teams to solve puzzles and “escape” the haunted Thrill House. Snacks, drinks, and prizes included.
Tuesday
Color Time – Mitchell Library, 2–3pm
A creative, music-inspired art session for all ages. Kids can color and create artwork inspired by tunes played during the program.
Zombie Barbies – Meador Library, 4–5pm (registration required)
Teens ages 13–17 can transform old dolls into “zombified” creations. Supplies, treats, and Halloween music provided. Just bring your creativity (and maybe your own doll).

Wednesday
Baby & Me Storytime – Brady Library, 9:15–9:45am
For babies under 18 months and their caregivers, this session blends nursery rhymes, movement, and bonding time.

Halloween Storytime – Tullis Library, 10–10:45am
Families can enjoy spooky-themed songs, stories, and crafts, followed by a Trick-or-Treat Trail through the library. Costumes encouraged!
Thursday
Children’s Trick-or-Treat Parade – Central Library, 10:30–11:30am
Little ones can parade through the library for treats in a not-so-scary setting. Ages 0–12 with an adult.

Taylor Swift Release Party – Meador Library, 5–7pm (registration required)
A celebration for Swifties ages 9 to 18+. Expect karaoke, crafts, photo ops, snacks, and plenty of fan fun.
Friday
Book-or-Treat – Stewart Library, 10am–12pm
Kids in costume can stop by for a “book treat” from the children’s desk, plus crafts and games. A festive morning for ages 3 and up.
Saturday
Special Storytime & Craft with H-E-Buddy – Mitchell Library, 9:30–10:30am
Families can enjoy stories and crafts hosted by H-E-Buddy and friends. A fun way to wrap up the week together.
Día de los Muertos Celebration – Tullis Library, 11am–1pm
Families can honor loved ones and enjoy cultural crafts, mask-making, and Pan de Muerto. Don’t miss the beautiful altars and photo ops.
