If you've been missing Uni Sushi since it closed its Market Street location, there's good news! The popular local restaurant is making its return to The Woodlands with a brand-new home at Grogan's Mill Village Center.
The new restaurant will be located at 7 Switchbud Place, Suite 190 and is currently expected to open in 2027.
The new space will span approximately 3,500 square feet with seating for 230 to 250 guests. Diners can also look forward to a covered outdoor patio, offering another great spot to enjoy lunch, dinner, or sushi with friends and family.
Uni Sushi has long been a favorite among Woodlands residents for its fresh sushi, Japanese cuisine, and welcoming atmosphere. Owners Angel Barragan and Rosie Izaguirre say the new restaurant will build on everything guests loved about the original while offering an updated dining experience in its new location.
The addition is part of Howard Hughes Communities' continued investment in Grogan's Mill Village Center, bringing more dining and gathering spaces to one of The Woodlands' original village centers.
