One of the most popular free food events of the summer is back! Chick-fil-A's Cow Appreciation Day returns Tuesday, July 14, 2026, and you can receive a FREE entrée simply by dressing in cow-themed attire. Whether you go all out with a costume or just add a few black spots to your white shirt, it's one of our favorite family traditions of the summer.
When Is Cow Appreciation Day?

- 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. (while supplies last)
Participating Chick-fil-A restaurants will be offering free breakfast, lunch, and dinner entrées throughout the day.
What Free Food Can You Get?
Guests dressed like a cow can choose one free entrée from the following menu options (subject to availability).
Breakfast
- Original Chick-fil-A® Chicken Biscuit
- 4-count Chick-n-Minis®
Lunch & Dinner
- Original Chick-fil-A® Chicken Sandwich
- Spicy Chick-fil-A® Chicken Sandwich
- 8-count Original Nuggets
- 8-count Grilled Nuggets
- 3-count Chick-n-Strips™
Children 12 and under who arrive dressed in cow-themed attire can also receive a free entrée plus a kids' prize, while supplies last. Individual restaurants may vary slightly in their offerings.
How Do You Participate?
It's easy! Simply wear cow-themed clothing or accessories and visit a participating Chick-fil-A restaurant on July 14.
You don't have to spend money on a costume. Some easy DIY ideas include:
- A white T-shirt with black paper spots
- Cow-print pajamas
- Homemade paper ears on a headband
- A cow-print bandana or hat
- Face paint for a fun finishing touch

Can You Order Through the App?
No. The Cow Appreciation Day offer is not available through the Chick-fil-A app, mobile ordering, or delivery services.
To receive your free entrée, you'll need to visit a participating restaurant in person using one of these ordering methods:
- Dine-in
- Carry-out
- Drive-thru
No purchase is required.
