Some songs never go out of style. Whether you first heard Journey on the radio, at a school dance, during a road trip with your parents, or belting out Don't Stop Believin' at the top of your lungs with friends, there's something about this band's music that continues to connect across generations.

On Wednesday, June 17, The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion will host The Music of Journey, featuring the Houston Symphony performing many of the band's most beloved hits. Expect favorites like Don't Stop Believin', Lights, and Separate Ways delivered with all the power of a full symphony orchestra.

The Houston Symphony's popular rock tribute concerts have a way of making familiar songs feel fresh again, adding layers of drama, energy, and emotion that are difficult to replicate anywhere else. Even if you've heard these songs hundreds of times, hearing them backed by a live orchestra is a completely different experience.

And perhaps the most remarkable part of the evening is the price tag: admission is completely free.

If you're looking for a fun outing with the kids, an easy summer date night, or simply an excuse to spend an evening under the stars enjoying great music, this is one worth putting on the calendar.

Gates open at 7:00pm, and the concert begins at 8:00pm. Click here to learn more.
