My house is almost always a mess until we are having company or the maid is coming...gotta clean up for the maid!

Parents and Real Simple.
First job:
Lifeguard.
Favorite meal to prepare at home:
Spaghetti, its my go to meal.
Favorite childhood book or story:
Peter Rabbit.
How I discipline my kids:
Giving choices works best for us. "Do you want to have fun, or do you want to go to your room?" However, just because it works best doesn't mean there isn't an occasional hollering that I'm not proud of.
Three things on my long term to-do list:
Finish my Master's, do more research on homeschooling, buy a new car.
Last movie I saw at the theater:
Can't even remember. It must not have been good.
How I spend my Friday evenings:
Every day seems about the same to me...but I guess Friday is my DVR catch up day since there isn't anything on TV that I like to watch that night.
Favorite store-bought or restaurant-bought dessert purchase (and where can we find it)?
Red Velvet cupcakes from Crave Cupcakes by the Galleria. A close second is the Red Velvet cupcakes at Treat in the Vintage Park Shopping Center.
Something currently in your purse that has a good story behind it (and tell us the story):
A Yankee Candle fundraiser catalog. My son's preschool did a fundraiser a while back and some of the pages are scented. When we are at the grocery store and my son is getting antsy I pull it out and it keeps him occupied for at least 15 minutes!
Best way to spend $50:
A haircut. It's time to myself and the only day where my hair doesn't end up in a ponytail. But usually if I have $50 I end up at Gymboree or Carter's.
My life...
...has come full circle. My husband and I dated back in high school but I never thought we would end up together. I couldn't be happier that we did!
