The Woodlands Mall is the place to be September 4^th  from 1 to 4 pm as the hippest place in town is filled fashion, music and fun in the future court (across from JC Penny's). The Featured Star will be Diamondstar, a brand new local "hot" fashion line that has global aspirations. Hollywood glam, hoodies and T's, Tennis/Golf  and the newest addition, evening wear/cocktail/ gown dresses. It's sweet & affordable luxury.

Despite the slow recovering economy, families living in Montgomery County stepped up to the challenge and reached out to hundreds of area children in need of backpacks and school supplies for the new school year. The 6^th Annual YMCA Operation Backpack collected more than 700 backpacks filled with school supplies for local students.

Borders is hosting a book drive for Children's Books on Wheels now through the end of August. Patrons are asked to stop in and purchase a book for the agency that distributes books county-wide to under served residents. Wiltz will also accept gently used books as well for those that would like to make a donation. She will be in the Borders/ Market Street location on Sunday, Aug 8 and Saturday, August 28, 10-3pm, to accept books and to present more about Children's Books on Wheels.
