At WoodlandsMommy.com, we believe moms who have “fingertip” access to local community resources and support find it less challenging to create healthy, happy families. Our goal is to provide a mommy website for The Woodlands and surrounding neighborhoods that will serve your need to discover what’s happening in your area, express yourself online, connect with other moms, be entertained, and more. The good news - We are not an organized mom’s group, so there’s no membership required. Instead, we’re a public resource for ALL moms! Even better news – throughout the year, we organize fun and informative mommy-friendly events that are always open for public enjoyment.  "I was born, raised and college-educated in a small town in the very southern part of Illinois. After I graduated from college, I moved to Chicago and had all kinds of fun jobs mostly in Marketing and Event Planning. I met my husband, Joe, through a close friend and after we were married we moved to Wisconsin where my two boys Alex (6) and Andy (4) were born.
In 2009, we decided we had had enough of the snow and cold and, when a job opportunity arose for Joe here in Houston, we decided to take an adventure and move to Texas! What a great decision that was! We have met some wonderful, lifelong friends here and enjoy the small town feel of The Woodlands. We spend a lot of time outside riding our bikes, fishing, playing baseball and eating outside! I love being involved at the boys' schools and with their sports teams. I truly feel very blessed by the life we have and spend a lot of time thinking about how we can convince the rest of our family to move here as well! I'm very excited to be working at WoodlandsMommy.com. It is a dream job for me since, first and foremost, I am a Mom but I also have a passion for writing and marketing and working with the community. It's so great to be able to spend time with other Moms like me who I know get so much value from WoodlandsMommy.com!" |
