YMCA Teen Camp: Each weekly themed session features field trips, swimming, sports, team building, service learning projects, climbing wall, and special activities. One of the best parts of Teen Camp is meeting other teens from neighboring Y’s and seeing our new friends at blow-out events hosted by YMCA of Greater Houston. It will be a summer you won’t forget as we travel to events all over Houston getting ENERGIZED! Home base for Teen Camp is the Shadowbend YMCA. Teen Camp hours are 9:00am – 4:00pm. Pre-Camp supervision is available 7:00 – 9:00am and Post-Camp supervision is available 4:00 – 6:30pm. First session begins June 4!

All YMCA programs promote healthy spirits, minds and bodies and consistently teach Judeo-Christian principles. The Y is a special place where each participant learns values that last a lifetime. Guided by the core values of honesty, respect, responsibility, caring and faith, character development is integral to all YMCA programs. Available to all in the community, the YMCA strives to not turn anyone away because of an inability to pay. Limited financial assistance is available to families that substantiate a need.
