The Woodlands Marlins Swim Team exists to foster competitive swimming, good sportsmanship, and development of teamwork in the youth of The Woodlands, Oakridge and the rest of north Montgomery County. The team’s philosophy is to develop and enhance swimming skills while building mental self-confidence and discipline. Most importantly, the team participation is a great opportunity to nurture the development of healthy bodies, new friendships and “team work” principles. The Woodlands Marlins team is a member of the Northwest Aquatic League ("NWAL") and the NWAL rules govern our meets. See www.nwal.org for a copy of the official NWAL rules. The Marlins hold our practices - rain or shine - and home swim meets at the CISD Natatorium's premier indoor facility. Other than the Coaching, this team is run entirely on volunteer effort. |
