The Woodlands Waterway Taxi
Six Waterway Cruisers travel along The Woodlands Waterway providing the perfect way to explore all the amenities the Waterway has to offer. Along both sides of the corridor are businesses, restaurants, office buildings, hotels and urban residential. The east end of the corridor is anchored by the Woodlands Mall and the west end is anchored by the Marriott Hotel and Convention Center and the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion. You can board the water taxis at the designated stops every 45 to 60 minutes. The Waterway Cruisers are wheelchair accessible.

The Woodlands Waterway Trolley
The trolley is a fun way to get around The Woodlands Town Center! Two vintage trolleys travel on the north side of the corridor and run from 11am to 8pm Monday thru Saturday and 12 noon to 6pm on Sunday. Trolley rides are FREE! The Woodlands Waterway trolley is wheelchair accessible.

Town Green Park
Located along the banks of The Woodlands Waterway®, between The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion and the South Montgomery County Library, Town Green Park is the downtown central park of The Woodlands. The four-acre green space features a main lawn nearly two football fields long, an entertainment stage area with natural seating, a children's literary labyrinth with life-size Aesop fables, and a children's amphitheater perfect for group outings.

Aerodrome Ice Skating Complex

Battleship Texas

The USS Texas served our nation through World Wars I and II, including the Normandy invasion and the infamous battle at Iwo Jima. The 100-year old ship, now a floating memorial museum, was given to Texas in 1948 as a memorial and has since been moored at the San Jacinto Battleground State Historic Site ever since. Families and groups can tour the ship and the battle grounds surrounding it for a fun and educational family trip.

Bayou Wildlife Park

Bolivar Ferry (Galveston)
Approaching the Bolivar Peninsula from Galveston Island you will find the bay crossing must be accomplished by driving onto a free highway department ferry boat. Dolphins often accompany the 588 ton ferries on their three mile crossing. Often ocean-going ships may be seen on their way to or from the wharfs at Galveston, Texas City or Houston. This thirteen minute mini cruise always provides a thrill for children and a pleasant experience for adults and you don't have to take your car aboard.
